I love this photo because of the colours. The deep blues and greys of the ocean and the oranges in the sky shown also in the reflection merge into the sky and its really quite stunning. The depth of this photo is also quite spectacular as shown by the clouds getting smaller into the sky. I tend to like pictures that have at least some element of human life so I like how this picture includes the old bridge and buildings. Another element that is great about this picture is the light and time of day, it makes great shadows and colors and really sets a particular mood that would be very different if it were to be bright and sunny in broad daylight.
It is just an all-around striking picture, I think mostly due to the rich coloring.
Edit: I just stared at this picture again and I realized that this could be fake, since where in the world is there an entire city on what seems to be a little bridge in middle of the ocean? Hmmm, funny how you don't realize things like this when you're focused on other elements of the picture.
